delta beta omega chapter
On September 19, 1963, at Morgan State College (now Morgan State University), 12 students founded Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Incorporated®. They established the following purpose for the organization:
“The development and perpetuation of Scholarship, Leadership, Citizenship, Fidelity, and Brotherhood among all men.”
The Fraternity is, and shall forever remain, dedicated to its founders’ vision of:
Building a Tradition, Not Resting Upon One.
As Iota Phi Theta continues to grow and strengthen, worldwide and especially in areas such as Charles County Maryland, so will its commitment to make meaningful contributions to society, with particular emphasis on the African-American community and the Atlantic African Diaspora.
As a member of IOTA PHI THETA Fraternity, Inc., you are part of a community that strives to make a positive impact both within our chapter and in the larger Southern Maryland community. One of the ways we can achieve this is through the contribution of your dues. Whether you attend our physical or virtual meetings and events, every dollar you donate makes a difference. These vital funds allow us to organize events, support our chapter brothers, and contribute to various community service projects in the DMV (DC Metro Area).
The Delta Beta Omega Alumni Chapter could not sustain the multiple initiatives that make our fraternity stand out without your contribution. By paying your dues, you invest in your fraternity experience and help create a meaningful difference. We encourage you to support our chapter by paying your dues or becoming a new member and continue in your journey to strive for the betterment of our communities.
Thank you for your continued support; we are honored to have you as a member.
